Instant Rava Ladoo Recipe | Sooji Ladoo
Ingredients:
1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
2 cups rava/semolina, medium or fine
11/4 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup roasted cashews
1/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup sugar (Powdered sugar)
1 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup milk + 2 tbsp milk extra
Method:
In a pan or kadai, melt the ghee on medium heat.
Once the ghee has melted, add rava and roast for about 8 to 10 minutes or until fragrant.
Add desiccated coconut, roasted cashews, raisins and sugar.
Stir and roast for 2 minutes on low heat.
Mix cardamom powder with 2 tbsp of milk and pour that into rava mixture.
Stir and cook for 2 minutes, then add 1/4 milk mix well cook until the sugar melts.
Let the mixture cool down a bit.
Take some ladoo mixture in your palms and shape it into round balls.
Coat the laddu with some desiccated coconut.
